All sessions are reserved by e-signing and returning the session contract (contract is emailed to you following planning of your session via phone or zoom) and by payment of the nonrefundable $50 booking fee. Both the e-signed session contract and the booking fee must be received to reserve your session date and time. Nonrefundable $50 booking fee is separate from session fee. Session fee is due in full 48 hours prior to scheduled session date and time, or session is subject to cancellation.

Capturing Your Baby's First Days

Newborn sessions are special. We are recording your baby's very first days on the planet. Every blink, every contented sigh (and yes every cry lol), every movement is one of the first times your baby has ever done this. Every action your baby makes during this precious time is a discovery, and brand new babies make discoveries best in their own homes, surrounded by their parents and in their parents' arms. For this reason, newborn photography at Ginger Kathleen Photography will celebrate the wonder and beauty of your baby, no unnatural posing needed. (Beginning at three months, my Milestone Sessions offer a variety of settings, props, studio/outdoor sessions, and etc!) But for the newbies to the planet, we invite their beautiful selves, their own blankies, and their parents (and whoever else you choose to appear in your baby's first photos). Your baby will be surrounded by natural light (diffused lighting as needed) and their parents' arms. Twenty years from now, you will be able to see just how their eyes met yours during these first few days; ow they smiled just a little in sleep; and just exactly what color their baby-eyebrows turned in the sunlight.

*Not for parties or events. The spirit of these special sessions is to provide you with a half or full day in the unique life of your family rendered in fine art photography. Regretfully, we will not have the correct gear or personnel for party/event coverage.
